Masks even for the "fully vaccinated" continue to protect against COVID-19 [Giveaway & Review]

Much to our dismay, Covid-19 and it's variants is still with us. I'm doing my bit to promote vaccination against this virus.

Sure, I didn't jump on the vaccine bandwagon at first call, I waited. I had my reasons for delaying but finally realized that it was something I needed to do. Just as I needed the polio vaccination back when it first came out.

First, I got my two shots of Pfizer and hardly noticed any reaction. Then I scheduled my husband's. He's only had his first shot but the second is due very soon.

What about you? Can you say, "Vaccinated and proud of it!" Many are shedding their masks but some of us are still remaining cautious because of the delta variant. Stay safe. It’s not over yet.

Current thinking is that the aggressive Delta variant of Covid-19 can be passed by vaccinated individuals who are asymptomatic. Wear a mask to be safe for others.

  1. The Covid pandemic has affected my life just as it has others with possibly one exception. I have children (teens) who already were vulnerable to having mental health issues and the pandemic has exacerbated them causing much turmoil in our family. We have been dealing with the fallout for about 6 months now and I am hopeful that it will improve soon. I too want to go mask free but am having doubts about whether that is the right choice with the variants and rising cases.

    1. Thank you for sharing your Covid life and the sensitive subject of mental health. Yes, that is a major issue with the restrictions imposed on people around the world. I hope you and yours are finding new ways to cope with the issues. Best wishes.....

  2. Senior with COPD who knew is she caught it, it would kill me. Lockdown was almost 4 weeks before I left my apartment to go to the store. I think the hardest part was not seeing family thank goodness for FACETIME.

I have gotten my SHOTS and had no problems. I was so happy to have them. Due to so many that have not got the shot and who are not wearing mask I don't go out without one on. And this DELTA covid is hitting a lot of people hard. they also say we may need a boster shot no problem I be there when they tell me to. To many are dying due to not getting the SHOT. Why would you want to die over a litle shot

  5. The Covid pandemic has affected my life for sure; haven't seen extended family in a long time, and would love to go traveling but still afraid to because it's not over yet. Gotten my two shots but I still wear double masks out in public.

    1. Lack of extended family time has hit hard for me, too. For awhile even nearby family didn't come very close to me. Just enough to make sure I had what I needed.

  6. The Covid-19 pandemic has affected my life by my having to avoid almost all contact outside of our home prior to receiving both doses of the vaccine. We responded to the pandemic by following all pandemic protocols: wearing masks, frequent hand washing, maintaining social distancing, and getting both doses of the vaccine when it became available to us.

    1. Smart! You did it "by the book" and that's the best way. Health professionals advising us to follow pandemic protocols want what's best for people. Trust your doctor! I do.

    1. Dear Unknown friend - Hang in there! Do the best you can on your job. If the one you have fails, look for another. Follow pandemic protocol and stay safe. Remember you are taking care of yourself, your neighbor, that senior (like me) that is out buying her groceries, and that person languishing in an assisted living or nursing home facility.

  11. The Covid-19 Pandemic affected my life very much. I was worried about working in a school office which caused lots of stress. The worst thing was that I could not see my sisters and brother and have get togethers. Now we are still being careful, but I am so happy that we can get together again and have our laughs! I do appreciate my family even more now.

  13. As a single mom & teacher who works 12-14 hours a day, I often forget to take care of ME... and I'd love the Women's Dopp Kit. I'd gift my phenomenal 73yo mom the set of FAUCI Vaccinated Masks as a gift. nicole 2 inspect at yahoo dot com

  14. UGH! As a single mom & teacher and former frontline health worker, the PANDEMIC has been life changing. In January, I lost my partner of 17 years unexpectedly to COVID19 related COPD and my life became a hectic blur of 12-14 hour days, past due bills, and milited quality time with my family! Exhaustion became my middle name and for the 2nd time in my life I was dodging harassing bill collectors! To this day, I am still struggling to keep my family afloat and just last week my 2005 Mercury Sable decided it was DONE... Despite my continued hardships, I Feel BLESSED.. I am still on "this side of the dirt" and that means I have a chance to turn things around positively!! My motto is: GOD will NOT bring you to it - If HE will not bring you through it. . nicole 2 inspect at yahoo dot com
