End Game by Rachel Dylan (CAPITAL INTRIGUE #1) released Jan 7, 2020

My thoughts:  As this story begins, there are three young women who were friends in law school but who all pursued different careers. Bailey Ryan the heroin of this book took her law degree and became a FBI Special Agent. Knowing the law facilitates her abilities to handle cases that come her way.

While investigating the murder of a highly trained American military person, Bailey meets NCIS Special Agent Marco who is handling the NCIS aspect of this crime.

Multiple policing agencies are involved in this rapidly spreading criminal investigation that puts Bailey and Marcus squarely in the line of fire of those who don't want their investigation to succeed.

As this is the first of a three-part series, I conjecture that the three young women at the beginning of the book will each have lead roles in the upcoming two books. Bailey is book one. Who is next? I look forward to seeing who the next game player in the Capital Intrigue series will be.

About the book: When elite members of the military are murdered on the streets of Washington, DC, FBI Special Agent Bailey Ryan and NCIS Special Agent Marco Agostini must work together to bring the perpetrator to justice. Unfortunately, all evidence points to a Navy SEAL sniper who Bailey refuses to believe is guilty.

When Bailey and Marco start to connect the dots between the victims, they wonder if there's a deeper cover-up at play. After Bailey is targeted, it becomes clear that someone is willing to kill to keep their dark secrets.

With the stakes getting higher by the moment, Bailey and Marco rush against the clock to determine whom they can really trust in this twisted conspiracy. As allies turn to enemies, the biggest secret yet to be uncovered could be the end of them all.
