Valentia Night Revive Retinol Serum [product review & giveaway]

I have found the Valentia line of skincare products to be quality products that feel good on my skin, don't irritate the skin, help my makeup go on nicely, and help manage the affects of aging that we all seem to succumb to whether we want to or not. Valentia helps us age beautifully and gracefully.

Today's product is the Valentia Night Revive Retinol Serum. As many of you are aware, retinol is considered one of the best ingredients for skin tone and diminishing wrinkles, but using retinol is not without small risks. It is important that it be used at night only and that during the day you make certain you utilize a UV blocking screen SPF. That isn't hard as many day creams and makeup foundations include SPF for you.

I found the Valentia Night Revive Retinol Serum a surprising serum in that it has a thick, milky consistency that spreads beautifully and liberally all over my face and neck. Most serums are thin, clear, and quite watery. This was a nice surprise. It feels so soothing and smooth. I applied it in a rotating upward sweeping motion all over my face and neck making certain to avoid the eye area.

Having used it for just over a week, I think I am seeing a slight lightening of the few dark spots on the side of my face - help to even out skin tone. My imagination? Who knows? I know the reputation of retinol is strongly encouraging for help in this matter. There is virtually no scent and it feels nice.

Previously, I reviewed several Valentia products and found them to be very nice and I really enjoy using them. Now their new product, Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer is proving that it, too is top notch.

Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer is in a pump bottle and a couple depressions emits an amount just about right for the face. If you chose to cover the neck and chest area, a bit more will be needed. It goes on smooth and absorbs readily. It leaves the skin feeling very good. The softening and moisturizing effect is lasting throughout the day.

I applied it twice daily for a week and have enjoyed using it. I anticipate that it will aid in lightening the darker spots that have appeared on the side of my face. Nevertheless, the moisturizing qualities are very good.

There is virtually no scent which is good for those who can't tolerate fragrances. It is absolutely non-irritating to the skin (at least to me) and doesn't sting at all as some lotions and moisturizers tend to do.

I can highly recommend this product.

Eternal Youth Exfoliating Scrub by Valentia Natural Skin Care

I am not a particular fan of facial scrubs simply because I sometimes tend to get it too close to my very sensitive eyes. I know - my fault, but alas this is simply the situation. However, since the Valentia products are very nice and I really like them, I thought I'd give the Valentia Eternal Youth Exfoliating Scrub a try. I was not disappointed.

The Valentia products are packed in lovely, enticing packaging that shows they value their product.

The texture of the Eternal Youth Exfoliating Scrub is slightly gelatinous and has tiny granules for enhancing the scrub. I think this slightly gelatinous texture allows for scooping a bit out of the jar with your fingertips and rubbing over your face without it slipping and dripping off. Rubbing it onto my skin with circular motions allows for the scrubbing. There are just the right amount of Jojob Beads to do the work of exfoliation without harshness.

I love the scent. Usually I enjoy a very feminine, flowery scent. I don't know what results in the scent of this product, but I love it. It has a freshness and a uniqueness about it.

Does this scrub irritate? Absolutely not. I felt a mild astringent sensation the first time I used it, but that quickly passed and it was not at all unpleasant or irritating.

I can highly recommend this product.

Fabulous new Valentia Clear Lift Revitalizing Serum [Review & Giveaway]

I have grown to really appreciate and love products from Valentia and this new Valentia Clear Lift Revitalizing Serum is no exception. A quality product simply abounding with goodness for my skin.

The directions are to use nightly, but for the first week, I've been using it morning and evening to simply give it a big-bang trial. I've not been disappointed. The serum is rich and creamy.
