My thoughts:
This delightfully illustrated children's book about differences in brains and how they function is a positive presentation on acceptance of being neurodiverse in an neuro-ordinary designed world. It seems to me as I read through the text that the focus is primarily on ADHD (Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) which by definition is short attention span and being hyper active in conduct and performance. This typically creates disorder in the home, classroom, and business scene (once a person is grown). The storyline of The Amazing Brain Club brings acceptance, positivity, and inclusivity to those who have the neurodiverse brain that is ADHD.

Often a person whose brain is different from the ordinary has extraordinary and wonderful talents and attributes. Their minds explore more, are quick to encapsulate ideas into theories and designs, and are able to contribute greatly to our world and society. The key is learning how to function within the scope of society and the design of one's brain differences.

However, acceptance is very much a key to this ability to be a creative, contributing individual instead of a disruptive, confused individual. The "Brain Club" idea is tremendous and grants a wonder and winning quality to being neurodiverse in a neuro-ordinary world.

A good book and written to appeal to ages 4 to 8.
