I find that when I'm just around the house, I cleanse and moisturize my skin and use little or no makeup. Using the Voibella Rose Toner spritzed several times a day is so refreshing and hydrates my skin so nicely. The anti-aging properties are a real plus.

I can't say enough about the soft rose fragrance of this hydrating toner. It is so elegant. It doesn't linger. It simply refreshes and lends an aura of lady like richness.

I highly recommend this as a product you want in your home, with you on your travels, and perhaps tucked away at the office for a quick freshen-up moment.

Purlev Pure Touch Retinol Anti aging Cream and Purlev Pure Silk Anti aging Serum [#sponsored #review]

Skincare products containing Retinol have been long touted as preferred sources for preventing the signs of aging that seem to haunt everyone when they look in a mirror. It's true! Retinol as an ingredient does lend itself to the care and keeping of one's skin.

The products Purlev Pure Touch Anti-Aging Retinol Cream and Purlev Skincare Pure Silk Anti Aging Face Serum can each be used day/night but it is best to not use both during the same application. When both products are used, it is suggested using the serum in the morning under a lighter moisturizer, and the cream at night on cleansed skin.

Purlev Pure Touch Anti-Aging Retinol Cream

My thoughts: This lovely cream is a dense, white cream that I lightly apply to my entire face, neck, and décolletage areas. After dabbing, or patting, the cream over the areas, I begin to massage it into the skin using gently rotating upward motions enabling the cream and retinol to be fully absorbed by the skin and awakening the tissue to work with the ingredients. Purlev is absorbed into the skin beautifully and doesn't leave a sticky feel. (I don't care for products that leave a sticky feel to my skin.) Once fully absorbed there should be not show any "white" of the cream, only softened skin.

For a few minutes after applying this cream, I tend to feel a slight stinging which indicates to me that the ingredients are doing their work. My skin is not sensitive and this slight stinging is very short lived. There is no peeling or lasting redness when I am using Purlev.

After using Purlev for a week, my skin feels softened, pores diminished, skin brightened, and I really believe my "lines" a bit diminshed. Makeup looks especially good now that I've been using this lovely cream on my face. I believe that continued use will help protect it from further effects of aging. The goal is to reduce lines and wrinkles and I think it is helping!

I am using the Purlev Retinol Anti-Aging Cream at night just prior to bedtime. As with any products that contain retinol, or that are not made specifically for use around the eye area, I do avoid getting this product around the eyes.

My thoughts: This serum is different from the general run of the mill products. First, it is a gel which makes it easier to apply and you feel it is more effective in adhering and absorbing. It contains ingredients other serums do such as Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid but it also has Tri-Peptide. These are the amino acids (or proteins) that our skin needs. I really like using serums on my skin to add a layer of care and protection. I use it after cleansing the skin and prior to applying moisturizer. So the routine is cleanse, serum, moisturize, makeup. Then I'm ready for my day.

I truly like this gel serum as it feels so silky to my skin and I think it is doing a great job protecting against aging.

Using this serum under moisturizer is great for day wear. At night I think the Purlev AntiAging Cream works well.

Two brand new products from Body Merry- Super 6 Serum Age Defense & Super C-22 Moisturizer

I was given the opportunity to review two brand new products from Body Merry that are "super" loaded with ingredients highly touted to provide natural skin care to fight the aging skin process.

I used these two products daily for the past few days. I really like that these products are made of natural and organic ingredients and that they are made in the USA in an FDA registered and GMP compliant facility. It is great that it is not tested on animals, too.

The Super 6 Anti Aging Defense Serum was applied first on cleansed face. In my opinion, using the recommended 4 drops barely spreads over the face, but that is the  maximum number of drops recommended. This serum is a reddish color in the bottle and after application, my face had a reddish tint. This discoloration did not last, though.

The directions for the Super 6 Serum state to apply a moisturizer after using the Super 6 Serum. I applied the Body Merry Super C-22 Moisturizer. At first I used two pumps of this moisturizer. It was too much. I found that one pump was adequate. I spread this over my face and neck using upward, sweeping motions. This moisturizer has a definite citrus fragrance that I found o.k.

I have not noticed any fantastic improvements in my skin during this trial period, nor have I seen any problems. I like that this product is suitable for men or women to use.

I recommend that anyone who desires the best for their skin apply a good moisturizer daily. Twice a day is even better. Preceding your moisturizer by using a quality serum further enhances the optimum performance of your moisturizer product.  Body Merry creates several good good products. The two new products - Super 6 Serum and Super C-22 Moisturizer might be just the right products for you.

Day by Day Beauty’s Hyaluronic Acid Serum (Review)

Until just recently, I was not aware of Hyaluronic Acid Serum.  I had probably seen it listed as an ingredient in creams and other facial products, but simply did not know what it was or what its purpose was. Not being a chemist nor acquainted with product ingredients, I sort of took trustingly at face value (I guess a pun is intended here) the manufacturers' of products I use on my face and other skin areas.

I recently became aware that Hyaluronic Acid Serum is considered to have anti wrinkle properties and that, folks, is a very real plus factor when acquiring products to care for  one’s skin. We can’t stop the aging process, but we can protect what we have and perhaps even undo some of the results of sun damage and aging of skin. Adding hydration to your skin definitely benefits by softening the skin, diminishing the appearance of wrinkles, and protecting the skin against the effects of drying.


I was presented the opportunity to acquire the Day by Day Beauty’s Hyaluronic Acid Serum and evaluate it on my own face. From the first day’s use, I felt that my skin looked better. No kidding. I’ve now been using it for about 10 days, morning and evening. My process is: clean the face, apply the Day by Day Beauty hyaluronic Acid Serum and allow to dry,  apply moisturizer, and then makeup. The end result is very nice, indeed. This is done twice daily (sans makeup before retiring for the evening). The last two days I have opted to also insert the application of Vitamin C Serum between cleaning and hyaluronic acid serum. That, too, works nicely, but I just as soon simply use the hyaluronic acid serum.


This product is a smooth, almost gel type liquid. It only takes a pump or so to coat your face and neck areas. I think this might be a new favorite product for me.
