Abraham & Issac's story unfolds in stirring new film "HIS ONLY ON" opening March 31 in theaters [Review & Giveaway]

MY THOUGHTS: After viewing a pre-release screening of HIS ONLY SON, I am honored to share the film's information with my readers and highly recommend it to you.

Angel Studios. creators of stirring series "The Chosen," have a new film that portrays the Old Testament story of Abraham and Issac. From a time 2000 years before the birth of Christ (so 4000 years ago), Abaham and his family and servants are living a nomadic life as Abraham heeds God's telling him to leave his home and journey afar. Now with his son by his side, Abraham travels on the most emotionally frought journey known to man.

Beautifully portrayed by a cast wonderfully suited for their roles, screnery and costumes true to the times and area, the story unfolds toward the triumphant end.
I am quite impressed with the Biblcal presentation and highly recommend.

On another note, Angel Studios sought a history making funding source - Crowdfunding! And the response was superb. His Only Son is the first movie ever to crowdfund its theatrical release. The film partnered with Angel Studios—the studio that brought you The Chosen—in 2022 to crowdfund over $1,235,000 for its March 2023 theatrical release.

SYNOPSIS: His Only Son recounts one of the most controversial moments in the Old Testament—when Abraham was commanded by God to sacrifice his son Isaac on the mountain of Moriah. While traveling to the place of the sacrifice, alongside Isaac and two servants, Abraham is flooded with vivid memories from the years he and Sarah spent longing for the son they were promised—the son he must now lay upon the altar.

  2. Do you think Abraham was a dirty old shepherd or the prince of many people who regarded him with honor? Was Sarai a bitter angry woman who argued with Abraham incessantly? Did Abraham with the faith unlovable really scream "noooo!" To God? I understand dramatic liberties but this is to the point of blasphemy.
