The other day it was a particularly gloomy day as far as the weather was concerned and I was experiencing it personally in a droopy, gloomy way because I just didn't feel particularly exuberant. And then the mail arrived and a lovely package of two soy candles.

The candle is in a "tin" so there is no "see-through" but the glow is soft, warm, relaxing and brought a delight to my senses. This was an uplifting moment and helped chase away the gloom of the day.
I was using the candle in my large, high-ceiling living room so the fragrance was especially mild. I imagine in a smaller room such as a dining room or bath the scent would be more noticeable. It would not, though, overpower.
