Willie Is A Little Boy is a sweet poem to share

I was blog-surfing and discovered this blogger's father's poem and absolutely loved it. Here is the poem and a direct link to the site. I know my readers will love it, too.

Willie Is A Little Boy

Just won’t you look at Willie
when the sun shines on his hair
it looks almost like goldenrod’s
a leaning here and there

His mind’s of shapes and sizes
much like a tinker toy
but his face has no disguises
Willie is a little boy

He’s a sweet thing, he’s a plaything
as mischievous as can be
who asks lots and lots of questions
that he shouldn’t ask, you see

He’s a hundred thousand tear drops
he’s a little box of joy
he’s a treasure straight from heaven
Willie is a little boy
