My thoughts: This is a lovely product that goes on smoothly and doesn't leave my skin feeling tacky. The orange coloration of the cream actually leaves a slight residue of tone to the skin (appreciated on my very fair skin) that renders a glowing healthy look.  This is not a tint or makeup product, but a skincare product that leaves a slight tone and a glow to the face. Makeup went on beautifully over the 24 Carrot Glow Moisturizer. (I use a fairly high end brand liquid foundation)  I am very pleased with this Morganna product.

The orangish color melts into the skin
and a slight tinted glow remains.

I firmly believe that we should use creams to moisturize our face and we should do this a minimum of once daily. Preferably, twice a day. Depending on the ingredients, the creams act differently to preserve a youthful appearance to skin. The key, however, is to moisturize and to do it regularly.

I am quite pleasantly surprised at the quality of this "purse friendly" (aka-speak for budget friendly) line of skincare products. And the Merlot product line is  vegan, natural, cruelty free.  (If you check the Merlot skincare line website, you'll see that their focus is on the use of grape seed antioxidants in all of their products.)

When I apply my skincare products, I take it also as an opportunity for a "spa massage" focusing on my temples, forehead, jaw line, nasal bridge, between eyes,  crows feet areas, and throat. I apply product with firm, upward rotating massage using my splayed fingers. I thoroughly believe this helps me to relax, relieves tension, and massages the lymph system to aid in drainage. I just feel this is good for me. I even do this more than once a day when I have a headache or a particularly stressful day. And then, of course, it is a skincare treatment as well.

Using the Merlot Advanced Fine Lines Cream is refreshing with a pleasant, light hint of "fresh air" scent, and literally feels good on my skin. Great under makeup or simply for those "go natural" days.

The recommended use is daily on cleansed skin. I am totally enjoying this lovely face cream.

We are looking at a brand that is new for me..... Morganna's Alchemy. The price range is moderately high with each product at $50. However, it is expedient to note that it takes a small amount of these two products to achieve results.

My thoughts: This light cream has a orange-rose tint to it but doesn't appear to add any lasting color to my skin. After applying, using a rotating upward sweeping motion, my skin has a moist glow that is really nice. The product feels lovely on my skin and makeup goes right on top with no issues. My skin also has a nice glow even after using the 24K Glow Cream and not applying makeup.

Morganna's Alchemy Korean Orchid Stem Cell Gel Cream

My thoughts: Don't you just love the thought of orchids. Visually they are so beautiful and, yes, somewhat rare. My wedding bouquet consisted of a huge white orchid atop a Bible with ribbons streaming. I lifted the orchid from the arrangement and it became my "going away" corsage. I love orchids!

I really like that I can use this orchid stem cell product and love that it is safe for the eye area. My eyes are so sensitive, especially if a tiny bit of any cosmetic product gets into them. This is a light weight, creamy looking gel/cream that goes on quite smoothly. It feels great on my skin. As with most all face care products, I apply it with rotating upward sweeping motions. It feels lovely on my skin. Refreshing. Non-irritating. Gentle but thorough.

I have been using these two products several days now. I apply the Korean Orchid Stem-Cell Gel Cream first and then the 24K Glow Super Cream. This provides a superb base for makeup application or just for caring for your face on a non-makeup day.

My thoughts: Ella Freda Organics Face & Neck Firming Lotion which I used on both face and neck was surprisingly effective for a product in this price range. I think I prefer it as a neck and decollete cream to tighten skin and help with elasticity. Hopefully preventing and/or stopping crepey skin.

I apply a small amount to my entire face (avoiding close to eyes), chin, neck, and décolleté. It goes on smoothly and I use smoothing upward strokes that rotate massaging the tension away.

ELLA FREDA ORGANICS MICRODERMABRASION SCRUB [Review & Giveaway USA]

Ella Freda Organics Microdermabrasion Scrub was surprisingly effective for a product in this price range. The product is in a lovely jar that will be nice looking on your bath counter. Inside the jar is a aqua/blue gel-cream that glides on easily for massaging onto the face. The little "scrub beads" are just enough roughage to cleanse without irritation. I truly believe this will work on ALL TYPES of skin.

Lightly sloughing off impurities from the environment, dirt, makeup build up, dead skin cells is important for maintaining good skin. This product is just gentle enough and just abrasive enough to do a thorough work of cleansing without harming. As with any product, especially scrubs, it is important to avoid getting it into one's eyes.

I just love using this Microdermabrasion Scrub and there are very few "scrubs" for which I can say that. My daughter was visiting me and she used some of this product while here. She also found it effective for cleaning her skin and loves it. 

As you use the Microdermabrasion Scrub be sure you use all over your face, under your chin, and along your neck (again, remember be careful to avoid getting in eyes). After two to three minutes of massaging it on your skin, splash water (I like warm to cool) all over. Dab with clean washcloth. Again, careful of the eye area when rinsing just as when massaging product onto face. Repeat rinse and dab until you feel all the "grains" are off. Pat dry. Allow face to rest a bit. 

Then begin with your regime of products. I usually apply a serum and moisturizer morning and  evening. Some days I also apply a light oil (be sure to use high quality products). Then if I'm going out (or just want a "pick-me-up"), I apply makeup. Makeup products work well with the Ella Freda Organics products.

Anti aging skin care is a multi step process. Genetics plays a part in how our skin ages and we can't control that. Stress and living in a highly emotional state is highly detrimental. You need to protect your face from sun damage while still getting sun to maximize your Vitamin D - balance is key. Also, a healthy diet is good. I prefer a pretty well rounded diet that provides the nutrients we need without the extra calories and harmful foods and additives. Then finally, one needs to protect the skin from the elements and environmental pollutants by using a good cleanser and moisturizer. Use the best you can afford looking for those with preventative and anti-aging ingredients.

My thoughts: Ella Freda Organics Facial Moisturizer was surprisingly effective for a product in this price range. It has been said that Retinol is a standard go-to product for results in the care of your skin and to slow the signs of aging we all disdain. No one wants dry, wrinkled skin. We don't want tiny wrinkles and we most definitely don't want those deep wrinkles.

This new product from Ella Freda Organics is a Facial Moisturizer. It has a texture somewhat between serum and cream in density. I apply a moderate amount to my entire face (avoiding close to eyes), chin, neck, and ear lobes and behind ears (neglected area). It goes on smoothly and I use smoothing upward strokes that rotate massaging the tension away and the moisturizer into the skin. My hands have a slight "tacky" feeling to them as does the face, but it soon dissipates. 

After moisturizing my skin, I cream around my eyes (using whatever current product I have) and occasionally use a nice skin oil to further moisturize. After caring for my skin, I apply my makeup for the day whether it is a stay-at-home day with little or no color added or a one of my full-out makeup days. Beauty products work well with the Ella Freda Organics Facial Moisturizer.

As with the Ella Freda Retinol Moisturizer Cream used in the evenings, this Facial Moisturizer used in the evenings prior to bedtime, has my facial skin looking amazingly good with the wrinkles surprisingly diminished and the "sleep wrinkles" pretty nonexistent. The product has a caution warning about getting it too close to one's eyes, but of course I don't use it real close to the eyes - that's a definite no-no for me because I have very sensitive eyes. But I  apply it liberally all over my face and chin and then a bit on the ear lobes and just under the ears. Using this Facial Moisturizer in the morning and evening works very nicely.I can only imagine what regular, long-term use could do. (Find on Amazon)
