Around the World in 80 Puzzles by Aleksandra Artymoska [Review & Giveaway - US/CANADA]

This is a gift-worthy book that I can recommend for Christmas gifts.

  • ISBN-13: 978-1783707652
  • Hardcover $19.99 (US)
My thoughts: The 80 Puzzles book is a real nice gift to the child or family that loves a good find-it-on-the-page search 'n find puzzle. Two page spreads of a plethora of variations of objects (related to the classic tale "Around the World in 80 Days") spun from the imagery of the story will tempt even the most avid puzzle solver.

Get ready for intricate searches because some of the objects to find are really hidden well. There is also the fun object to search for on each and every page.

The book begins with a young boy tucked away in his room pouring over the pages of a book. Soon he is afloat with his orange balloon going from page to page trying to find the solution to the puzzle. Eventually, he ends up right back in his room, book in hand.

The answers to the puzzles are tucked away at the back of the book - don't peek.

A large, oversize book that is great for coffee tables or game tables or simply placed wherever the child wishes. I recommend this as a delightful gift for the upcoming gift-giving season. You can find it at your favorite book store.

About the book: Puzzles, intricately detailed worlds, and stylish scenes are sure to appeal to readers of all ages

Inspired by Jules Verne’s iconic novel, this stunning puzzle book is a treat for readers of all ages. Aleksandra Artymowska’s imagining of the classic tale is packed with steamships, airships, railways, penny-farthings, and any other kind of transport you can imagine — and it will take you on a voyage like no other. Each intricate puzzle, from labyrinthine mazes to missing-object hunts, is guaranteed to fascinate, puzzle, and inspire. It’s a book to pour over again and again.
