Balance Bar Rolls Out New mini energy bars: product review & giveaway


Bite-size Treats Pack Plenty of Taste
and Balanced Nutrition

What I think about the new mini energy bars.....   First of all, they taste good!  If stuff doesn't taste good, then forget about getting the kids to eat it.  And let's face it, I like for my treats to taste good as well.   Good for you, doesn't have to taste bad to you.  Secondly, these little squares of tasty stuff, are chock full of energy and antioxidants.  Kids need energy and moms and dads need energy.  And yes, I need energy - you got it right - little old ladies of-a-certain-age really need some energy.

I shared  a few of my mini energy bars with my daughter-in-law.  She is excited about the opportunity to tuck these into her purse for that moment when her energy clock has hit end-of-day low and it is only 2:00 p.m.  She and I both like the fact that this 100 calorie gem is so packed with good-for-you ingredients. 

I packed lunches for many years as my 5 children attended school.  These would have been such a welcome treat to drop into their lunch boxes of bags.  They would definitely have enjoyed them, and I would have felt that I was packing a healthy treat for them.


I envision a forward-thinking school making these available on the lunch trays or to sell as snacks in their school lunch programs.  They are sweet enough to satisfy that hunger for something sweet and yet they are loaded with good for the kiddies.
